Located at the site of the gate of Italy for destinations such as Lyon and Rome, the Place d’Italie lies at the center of a prominent crossing of five large streets in Paris - the boulevard Auguste Blanqui, the avenue des Gobelins, the boulevard de l'Hôpital, and the boulevard Vincent Auriol.
The Place d’Italie is a large and modern gray colored building. It is part of the rapid transit system in Paris also known as Paris Metro.
